Antique pianos are a lovely way to decorate your home! Make sure to buy a quality piano and not just an appealing case.

The expression antique piano is used when talking about upright and grand pianos made over one hundred years ago.  This term is not to be confused with an early keyboard, which has a simpler and more passé style.

When you decide to buy antique pianos, you should always take some thoughts into consideration, for example: why you want it, is it for collecting purposes, are you considering purchasing as an investment, is beauty your main concern, etc.  Also keep in mind that if you want it for something other than décor, then you should have it tested by an expert for tuning, sound and harmonicity.
